Eric,

This has been an exciting week. Your eyes are feeling much better and you seem to be well on the way to recovery. My class is now done and I am no longer spending weekends and every spare night doing school work! Yay!!!

And lastly, we found a doggie to call our own! I found her on petfinder and when I found out more information on her, she was just too good of a fit for us to pass up. She is in the New Leash on Life program and graduates June 8, so we have over a month to anticipate getting her, and we are both very excited. Yesterday I bought her first toy (Pet Smart clearance bin) and her first bag of treats (what the foster mom said she liked).

I made you a strawberry pie to have after dinner tonight :) It was made with strawberries from the farm Lee and Jessica go to, and they are so sweet and juicy, so I anticipate the pie being REALLY good. Hopefully after a day of fire training it will taste even better to you!
